The best companies to work with according to this list might not have the best of everything. The best companies to work with are those companies having the interest of its employees at heart. Companies that offer a nice and serene working environment and provide a good pay to its employees.

This should help job seekers as well as employers know their rank in the industry.

Here’s a list of the top 10 companies to work for in Nigeria this year:

Shell Petroleum Development Company(SPDC):

The first company I applied to after graduation was Shell. This is majorly because I have heard several stories about the company. It is said to be the highest paying company in Nigeria. Shell has a history of nearly 60 years in Nigeria and the largest footprint of all the international oil and gas companies operating in the country. It regularly seeks ways to improve its employees by offering frequent training on their area of specialization.

Chevron:

Chevron is another great place to work in Nigeria. It is one of the largest oil producers in Nigeria and one of its largest investors.

In Nigeria, they operate under a joint-venture arrangement with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for the onshore and offshore assets in the Niger Delta region. Chevron also promotes health, education and economic development. It is a great company as it provides a lot of room for growth and learning. And is also concerned about the safety of its employees with a very competitive and eye catching salary package.

ExxonMobil:

Exxon Mobil Corporation is an American multinational oil and gas corporation headquartered in Irving, Texas. The world’s seventh largest company by revenue. Their average salary to their employees in Nigeria is about 300 to 400 thousand naira. It is the world’s largest refiner and marketer of petroleum products.

MTN Nigeria:

Dangote Group Of Company:

The Dangote Group is a Nigerian multinational industrial conglomerate, founded by Aliko Dangote. It is the largest conglomerate in West Africa and one of the largest on the African continent.
