Daughter to Pastor and Mrs. Chris Oyakhilome, Sharon Oyakhilome just got engaged to her fiance.

Her Mother, Anita, broke the news, herself on her Verified Facebook Page. She wrote; “Congratulations to my daughter and son-in-law to be. What makes marriage beautiful is when two become one flesh, inseparable and always enjoying the pleasure of each others company.”

Another user, Amaka Ezeh excited by the news wrote: “Oh my God…….our very own CSO just said yes!!!! As in….. Carrissa Sharon Oyakhilome just got engaged to her future husband. Glorry…..That means PST CHRIS will soon become a grandfather, I just can’t wait for him to carry his grandson

A mild drama played out at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Wednesday before the commencement of the meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

A heated argument took place between the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari; and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita.

The altercation was believed to be based on Oyo-Ita’s leaked memo to Kyari on the embattled former pension boss, Abdulrasheed Maina.

The mild drama played out in the presence of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, John Odigie-Oyegun.

Saraki, Dogara and Oyegun were present to witness the inauguration of the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, as well as the inauguration of the 2018 Armed Forces Remembrance emblem.

Mustapha succeeded in calming frayed nerves after Osinbajo and Kyari were seen engaging the visibly angry Head of Service in discussions.

Buhari has since inaugurated the new SGF. He has also inaugurated the remembrance emblem.

Remember the married Nigerian woman, with 4 kids, and a man (believed to be her lover) who were found dead in their car in Ogba, Lagos on sunday morning. while many where in church, their corpses photo have just been posted online by a facebook user;

Lovers found dead in a car Sunday morning behind NIJ Ogba Lagos. The husband of the woman said he was aware of her infidelity but chose to keep quiet.
The lover who happens to be the son to their landlord was said to be a close friend to the husband of the late woman. The two were found by bypassers early in the morning with the car engine and ac still running.
They quickly contacted the police who took the bodies to the morgue and according to the police, an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the cause of their death.

As much as they like to complain about it, though, researchers at the University of Exeter have found that it could actually be good for your partner to inhale your stench.

One of the researchers, Dr. Mark Wood, said: "Although hydrogen sulfide is well known as a pungent, foul-smelling gas in rotten eggs and flatulence, it is naturally produced in the body and could in fact be a healthcare hero with significant implications for future therapies for a variety of diseases."

 
Hydrogen sulfide is one of the gases released that provides farts with their God-awful smell, but also gives them various health benefits.

Researchers found that the microbial byproduct can actually reduce the risk of various life threatening illnesses like cancer, heart attacks and strokes, as well as preventing arthritis and dementia in old age, as well as helping to preserve mitochondria, which drives energy production in blood vessel cells and regulate inflammation.

"When cells become stressed by disease, they draw in enzymes to generate minute quantities of hydrogen sulfide," said Professor Matt Whiteman, from the University of Exeter's medical school.

"This keeps the mitochondria ticking over and allows cells to live. If this doesn't happen, the cells die and lose the ability to regulate survival and control inflammation."

To make sure the body retains and produces the right amount of hydrogen sulfide, the researchers created a compound known as AP39.

Whiteman added: "We have exploited this natural process by making a compound, called AP39, which slowly delivers very small amounts of this gas specifically to the mitochondria.

"Our results indicate that if stressed cells are treated with AP39, mitochondria are protected and cells stay alive."

So next time you stink out the bedroom and you get an earful, you can tell your other half that you're actually doing it to benefit them, then do it some more. Cupcake them, if you really care about them.
