I love to encourage people to start from where they are and with what they have..

Because all I heard when growing up was, "you would need 'billions' for that"

It is not true.

Kids are very creative and smart.

I remember teaching my under-2-year-old sibling a,b,c... Because she was so intelligent so much so that she actually started talking at 7-10 months old!

I was told to stop, that I could be stressing her brain.
I shook my head and stopped.

You would be amazed to see the kind of songs, that praise the LORD, that your kids can create if you nudge your musically inclined kids on the right path and gently.

I saw an under-6-year-old-kid on Instagram producing a song
Lovely song.
Why not your kid?

You can teach them to play the piano from the internet, to use a DAW from the internet and they can become awesome gospel singers when the right time come.

I say gospel singers, because you need to teach your kids to fear The Maker, your Maker, our Maker.

He was so rude that I couldn't see past his insults.

Whereas if he had been nicer about his criticisms, GOD knows I would have given him credit some time in the future after "blowing"
But he missed an opportunity to be honored by fruitfulfruitful

I love love love this song.
You will love it too when you listen to it.
It tugs my hear every time with love when I listen to it because it reminds me of how kind GOD is to us.
GOD is patient. The magnitude of work HE does on Earth deserves great praises from us.

Production wise, of the six gospel song in my 2023 release, this was one of the easier songs to mix.
Just like the gospel single, "FATHER's love", GOD inspired new set of lyrics for me to add, it is what you hear at the end, before the chorus.

I have posted this I'm three places hopefully to encourage others Indoe artists as well.

The most important aspect to a music studio set up is the mic.

Do not be deceived, it doesn't have to be expensive but it has to be of good quality.
There are top manufacturers of mic who produce quality budget mic that you can get for 6k to 15k, I kid you not.

However, like someone earlier pointed, your beats are okay but there is a lot of feedback in your vocals.

Are you recording with a Condenser mic in an untreated room?

That could be the cause.
Condenser mics are very powerful and would pick up the slightest disturbance in the air during vocals.

If you produce in an untreated room like me, what you need is a dynamic mic: because they reduce noise to almost zero.

Then, the truth is, the earlier people who made comments spoke the truth but very harshly.

Your voice is nice, but there a lot more work needs to go into the "flow" of the song, the rhythm is really out of sync sometimes.

What Daw do you use?
You don't need to tell me but alot of them have bar counter, work with it.
And stick to it.


E.g of my song

I am a girl
She is a chic
He is a dude.

They are a bunch
We fear no one
Cause GOD is good
Good to us all.

See?
There is a flow...

You could try rhyming.
I don't do that a lot.

So I understand if you don't want to go that route.

Criticisms can be tough especially when people decide to be mean about it, but they can sometimes help one grow if one decide to take the "sense" and throwaway the "non".

I wrote this on your other thread, "...Why are people coming for me".

Also you can get someone who is sound upstairs to help you construct your lyrics.

By sound upstairs, I mean you shouldn't go to a mediocre person but someone is is educated and understand art, even if just a little.

It is inspiring, uplifting and glorfies our LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST.

Production story
This song almost dealt with me during the mixing session, but it could not; in all these things we are more than conquerors.

The mixing session was haaard to clean up.
Believe it or not, I ran to the GOD for help!

Inspite of the effort put in to clean up the song, work "refused to finish"

This gospel single, Praise The KING, was supposed to be my first gospel single release for the year 2023 but mixing work just kept increasing and the deadline for its release was fast approaching.
So I had to "abandon" it and start work on "FATHER's love".
GOD gave me sense.

The gospel single, FATHER's love, ultimately became my first gospel single for the year 2023.

If I show you the original audio of this song to listen to, and you compare it to the final version that has now been released, you will understand why it is good to pray and carry GOD along even in music production.

After the "shege" I experienced trying to clean up what was supposed to be my first gospel release for 2023, I prayed and committed the the production of FATHER's love to GOD's hand
Chai! If you see the way work was just going, "fiam fiam fiam" as I edited, I couldn't believe the ease.
In no time I was done.
Just when I thought I was done and ready to release the gospel song, I received the third portion of lyrics from GOD and how it should sound and I included it.
Sincerely, the third stanza of the song is my best part of the song.
And this song so far has outperformed others in terms of play.

Of all the six gospel tracks from the album that this song belongs to, I will say its quality tops the other six.
It could have only been GOD.

Everything you don't understand and ask HIM, HE will  mercifully make clear for you to understand. JESUS is full of wisdom infact, JESUS is wisdom HIMSELF

HE will answer all your prayers said in HIS name, prayed according to HIS will. Ha! You will go very far in life because JESUS will ALWAYS answer your  prayers.
