This question has been causing serious arguments on Facebook. I think its time Mark Zuckerberg come out and tell us whether WhatsApp is a messenger or social media. As for me I think it is a Messenger. But some guys are saying it is a social media since you can meet people on WhatsApp group (which is true). My main argument is that WhatsApp was advertised as Messenger and not a social media. Fellow Nairalanders come to my rescue and answer this.  Source: https://facebook.com/bilastech
