President of the Student Union, Enugu State University of Science And Technology (ESUT), Eze Victor Uchenna has been suspended as the President for allegedly stealing a whooping some of N3Million school found.

As shared on one of the school Facebook page, the statement reads as thus:

SUG SUSPENSION NOTICE
This is to notify the public about the suspension of the ESUT SUG PRESIDENT, Eze Victor Uchenna, the Treasurer Ugwu Augustine Emeka and the Financial Secretary Osogwu Valentine Amechi from both the union and academic activities in the university.

We have kept silent over the trending issues because we were carrying out series of investigation and was also awaiting the school authority to make their pronouncement.

However, the Vice Chancellor who abhors corruption and mismanagement of public funds in his wisdom today Friday 6th October, suspended the President, Treasurer and Financial Secretary from the Union and Academic activities as well and mandated them to refund all looted funds from the union. The parties involved have agreed to do so.

We want to use this medium to advice the public to desist from dealing them as representatives of the union/institution until further notice.

We will update y'all with further information when they are available.

Note: the said 3million was illegally withdrawn and shared, while another bank account was fraudulently opened with a forged document and forged letter of authority from the management. With a forged letter he fraudulently requested, received and withdrew N700,000.

This is all we can say with facts to back them up.

We promise to be accountable to the students and to encourage the war against corruption. We sincerely thank the team # 4llowthemoney who raised awareness amongst the students and sincerely appeal that students should address all grievances to the right authority and together we will change the system and rid the polity of corrupt people.
