Properties worth millions of naira were destroyed by flood on Saturday at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Headquarters in Edo State.

INEC officials said the flood followed a heavy rain which lasted for about two hours in Benin City, leading to the collapse of a fence between their premises and the Federal High Court.

2013 INEC make a general recruitment over 1000 for first batch January 2013 and second batch came in September 2013 on GL 08/02.
Every three years you are qualified for promotion exam. The first batch wrote exam in 2016 at GL 08/05 and some pass and we're promoted to GL 09/01.
Those that fail were still on GL 08/06 in 2016.
In 2017 the second batch and those that fail wrote exam and some pass and promoted to GL 09/05.
Now this is were the problem is.
The first batch of 2013 were placed on GL 09/01 while those of second Batch and those who fail the first exam were place on GL 09/05.

The 2013 first batch were now placed behind now and their salary is lower than the group who wrote exam in 2017.

We are Begging INEC to please do something because the those who passes exam in 2017 are now above those who passed in 2016 in different of 4 steps.

We are praying that something should be done.
