Good morning everyone,Is it right or wrong for a 23 year old guy to have a girlfriend(without sexual intercourse) even when he intends getting married when he's about 30 years of age...Do you think him having a girlfriend at 23 would help teach him some valuable lesson about relationship and courtship or would it negatively affect his walk with God? |

MisterKennedy:No it's not wrong. You both can grow together in the word of God, but set your boundaries. Don't cohabit like the way the world do in fact such relationship shouldn't be called boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. Courting should be better. 7 years romantic relationship with a girl for marriage   Its impossible. It will definitely end in sexual sin. God is not against romantic relationships, as long as it has nothing to do with sexual sins. Yes, it is possible to have a godly romantic relationship with the opposite sex, but because of sexual temptations, such relationships should not exceed a year and should culminate in courtship/marriage. Generally, romantic relationships outside marriage is not considered by many christians becos of fornication. Personally, i don't believe in boyfriend /girlfriend relationships as it is a doorway to premarital sex, but it can exist howbeit in a godly way. MisterKennedy: 2 Likes 1 Share |
