BY in ilorin cars their are very cheap but they don't have custom duties on them
But that's not a problem if you not taken the care across any border
And they don't demand for that once the car is registered

bros dont be discouraged by those guys forming high class. you can buy a good and servicable 1.6 engine car for less than that amount. something likr golf 2or 3. and some smaller ones like starlet, march and some models of collora. what you just need to do is chrck out mechanic workshops. they usualy leave an empty gallon on top to show that its for sale.

i have bought twice and sold once. Same with my colleagues and friends. It's legit

A relative sold one of his old cars for N250k recently. In fact, I advised he put it on sales because car was only gathering dust with no one to drive.

So to answer your question, you can get an old (but not dilapidated) car for that amount. The conditions attached are that such cars will be Nigerian used; need some beautification (e.g. re-spray, seat cover, mat, extra tyres, etc.).

By the way, both the seller and the buyer of the car I referred to as of today have not come to make any complaint. Car is a Mazda 626 salon (can't remember the year).
Mazda is one of the cheapest and durable models out there but like the typical Nigerians that we are with our follow follow mentality, we will never be satisfied unless we follow the Toyota crew.

So, open your mind to opportunities, look beyond Lagos and Camry. Used cars are expensive in the major cities because of booming taxi business. A lot of civil servants in less viable states are willing to change their cars. Someone mentioned Ilorin, that's one place to get a good car at a great cost.
