Osinbanjo was acting president when Buhari signed the controversial contracts that has plunged NNPC into turmoil. Why is NASS not starting impeachment proceedings considering Buhari usurped the power of the acting president?
Is this fraud not an impeachable offense?

Why is Osibanjo mute? Time for baba kekere to show he has balls.

No, let him stay and fully soak zombies with his volumnous failures. The endless shame will teach them how not to choose worst over bad. Jubrin must continue till 2023 ... by then, most companies must have folded up and zombies will be left with big heads yapping hungrily like starved chihuahuas grin cheesy

That is a straight impeachable offense. The country is in trouble! The deifying of Buhari is mother of all corruption.

Did he stop being president because he delegated Osinbajo in acting capacity?
Re: Should Buhari Be Impeached For Signing $650 Contract On Sick Bed? by aolawale025: 4:43pm On Oct 11, 2017
There are two issues.
1. Buhari was on medical leave and have transmitted power to his vice
2. The president doesn't have the power to approve a contract of $650M

The senate has to determine the extent of constitutional violation to determine the way forward.

Dont mind all these ipob wailers!

President Buhari Signed as a Minister Of Petroleum and not as an Executive President!

NNPC act expressly empowered him to do So!

zombiesm is an irredeemable affliction.

When he transferred power, he became an ordinary citizen.

Even the presidency buttressed that point when he was away.

but obviously... no matter what... You just have to be a Zombie.

You must realise that love for Buhari is not the same as love for Nigeria.

You people are destroying the country

Where in the world do you let sick people sign contracts worth billions when they're in semi comatose state?
A semi comatose person is not allowed to head any organization not to talk of signing a contract large enough to plunge Nigeria into depression.

You all celebrated Buhari handing over to Osinbajo not knowing it was meant to placate people from the SW region.

Yes
He communicated to NASS that Osibanjo was in charge. We can't have 2 Presidents at any one time.

Where in the world, did you hear or see Buhari in a Semi Comatose state?

Is it because NNamdi Kanu or Fayose said so?

Buhari was on death bed in London, you don't mortgage the lives of a nation on a dying man.

You guys should stop reacting to action with emotion and not logical reason.

He relegated power to Osinbajo. He did that at the capacity of Presidency and not Minister of Petroleum.

He is still the Minister of Petroleum anywhere as the NNPC act requires

Death bed is mortuary. There is no record that Buhari signed the contract when he died

The constitution requires that Nigeria president should relegate power to his vice when he is away out of the country. The NNPC act didn't say anything like so it is not required of him to relegate power as Minister of Petroleum to the state Minister.

There is a current Minister who travelled to foreign country for health related issue. The Minister did not relegate power to anyone before embarking on the trip. This is because the law guiding his Ministry does not require it

Death bed is figurative, denoting he was waiting to die.
Whether he died is another question, jubril comes to mind.

As the names suggest, as a President you oversees the entire affairs of the country, but as a Minister, you re just dealing with a particular Ministry... Do you think ministers, dont travel for medicals?

The constitution requires him to relegate power in a situation he is travelling for health issue. And you are not his doctor to know if he is capable to perform as President or not. He simply did what the constitution required.

If you have problem he didnt relegate power to the state Minister, you should pick the NNPC act and take him to court. No one do anything outside what the law requires

Assuming I agree with the above, what about signing contracts worth billions whilst on a sick bed? The man is senile and needs to be impeached.
