Manchester United may be without three key midfielders
for Saturday's hugely anticipated Premier League clash
against Liverpool.
Paul Pogba has been missing since the influential
Frenchman was withdrawn in the first half of the 3-0
Champions League victory over Basel on 12 September,
with Jose Mourinho later confirming his absence would be
"long term".
Club captain Michael Carrick has missed the last two
games through injury and Marouane Fellaini is also
expected to be sidelined for the trip to Anfield after being
hurt on international duty, with Belgium boss Roberto
Martinez stating the midfielder sustained knee ligament
damage in the first half of their 4-3 win over Bosnia last
Saturday.
