Police assures adequate performance, best practices


The Nigerian Police has assured that it would continue to put in its best form through regular training and strengthening international cooperation, so as to enable it perform adequately, its oversight function of protecting lives and property of Nigerians.

It disclosed that part of it effort to achieve the set goal was participation of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris NPM at a three day seminar of International Congress for fight against menace of kidnapping, ongoing at Cartagena in Colombia.

Through statement released by Nigerian Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood, it said that as part of continuous effort to bring end to the menace of kidnapping in Nigeria, the police has resolved to strengthen international cooperation and learn from other countries of the World in the fight against violent crimes.
