Tecno Phantom 8 And Phantom 8 Plus- Features, Reviews, Rumours by Ugoeze2016: 9:57pm On Oct 16, 2017
Incase you have been expecting the Tecno Phantom 7 to be released this year, there is mixed news for you. Yes, mixed news. First, there won’t be a Phantom 7, at least for now. Second, there will be a Phantom 8 and 8 plus. This is not very surprising considering that the Hong-Kong based smartphone company released Camon 8 before Camon 7. More so, skipping a number is becoming the industry trend ever since Microsoft skipped Windows 9 to Windows 10. Recently, Apple announced the iPhone 8 series and the iPhone X (pronounced ‘iPhone ten’) which makes one wonder where the 9 traveled to.
All things being equal, Tecno will host an event in Dubai on the 22nd of October, 2017 to showcase the next line of their fantastic Phantom Series, Tecno Phantom 8. While we do not know the precise designs of the soon-to-be-released device, we have some knowledge about the features and specifications of Phantom 8 and 8+.

DESIGN
We have seen leaked images of the phones which suggest that the Phantom 8 and 8 plus will be introduced into the tech market with a rear-mounted finger print scanner. One of the devices, most likely the Phantom 8+ has a metal design with a glass finish at the back. It is rumoured that the glass will feel smooth when held, and the phone won’t feel slippery at all.

BATTERY and CONNECTIVITY
The two Tecno smartphones will feature superfast 4G LTE networks. This implies that you can browse the internet seamlessly and watch online HD videos without lag.
It is expected that the 8+ will be made superior to the 8. As such, Phantom 8+ will have a 4,000MAh battery capacity while Phantom 8 will sport a 3,500MAh battery.

CAMERA
If the rumours are anything to go by, then you should be anticipating very beautiful cameras on the Phantom devices. We have it that the Phantom 8 and 8 plus will spot dual rear cameras with the 8+ potentially having the more superior camera hardware. Of course, both devices will also come with bright flash and superb secondary cameras. Phantom 8 cameras will likely be 13MP and 5MP dual back cameras with 8MP secondary camera. While the 8+ can feature up to 20MP dual back camera and a 13mp at the front for beautiful selfies and quality videos.

PROCESSOR
Android Nougat 7.1 will power the two devices. However, they will be run on two different platforms. Phantom 8 will be processed by Helio P25 Octa-Core 2.6GHz, while the 8+ will most likely be run on the Helio X30 processor. In addition to these processor differences, there will also be ROM and RAM differences between the two phones. The Phantom 8 and 8 plus devices are expected to have 4GB and 6GB ROM with 32 GB and 64GB RAM storage respectively.

PRICING
We do not have any ideas what the price of any of the devices will be in the Nigerian market. Although one thing we are sure of though is that....http://zokija.com/blog/tecno-phantom-8-and-phantom-8-plus-features-launch-date-october-22-2017/
