Any lawyers in the house? Am interested in knowing the rules and laws relating to money lending in Nigeria. Are banks the only institution permitted to lend money out? Or can anyone set up an enterprise for that purpose? I have some emerging interests in setting up a pawn shop where individuals can come sell their personal belongings for some cash or drop their belongings as collateral for a soft loan. So I want to know the laws that affect this business. Biko, lawyers in the house should help me out. |
