One case of an Ebola-Like Marburg virus confirmed in Uganda, which is a highly infectious hemorrhagic fever, which led to a fatality. Uganda Health minister, Jane Ruth Aceng said in a news conference in the country’s capital, Kampala that the cases were discovered after series of test carried out on the victims. The East African nation last suffered a Marburg outbreak, which has a high mortality rate, in 2014. Marburg is from the same family of viruses as Ebola, which killed thousands in West Africa in 2014.
