• Find a way for your child to meet and interact with new people, so that they feel comfortable outside of a known environment.

• Structure your child’s exam preparation so that the subject learning decreases whilst revision and mock tests increase as the exam date approaches.

• Make sure your child’s time off is exactly that – time spent away from the demands and pressures of exam preparation. This is particularly crucial around the Christmas week, as nothing can be gained from your child ‘burning out’ early. They want to ‘peak’ in time for the exam, and neither before nor after.
