Google just of recent, has introduced three new changes to the Chrome Browser for Windows to basically improve the browser's malware detection and removal capabilities. The company Google is actually targeting malware and malicious extensions that simply modify search results to redirect users to unintended pages, inject ads, and lock users on ad-filled sites.

Morealso, the new security features for the Chrome Browser on Windows are an addition to existing defenses, such as Safe Browsing warnings for pages known to deliver malware on the world wide web. Also, Google is now seriously clamping down on Chrome Browser extensions that basically change user settings, such as the default search engine. The Chrome Browser will automatically detect when an unauthorized change is made to it and offers to restore the original settings as expected.

Furthermore, Google has also redesigned the Chrome Browser's Cleanup feature which offers a simple shortcut to restoring the Chrome Browser's default settings after an infection is sensed. The Chrome Browser will quickly show an alert when the browser detects unwanted software and offers a vital way to remove it immediately. Chrome Browser users have previously been able to use the standalone Chrome Cleanup Tool to remove harmful software but it is not enough.
