In as much as banning nomadic farming is right security wise, I see great challenges for the herdsmen ahead.

Grasses don't grow all year round especially in the north. Their cows will have nothing to feed on.
well they should have thought of that before deciding to unleash mayhem on the locals

Good move by the Benue government. The cattle rearers need to get with the time and change this business model. Cattle ranches is the way to go. Grazing up and down is so 1809.

Chiedu4Trump:
This Fulani Herdsmen things is a deliberate rouse to force the south to give them land that will serve as a launching pad for jihad.

we need to resist this before its too late.

Dude seriously? The Hausa-Fulani are all around you already. They have their Sabo settlements in practically every state. They are your gateman, shoe shiner, metal scrap collector, okada rider, meruwa water truck driver etc And they have been around you for many years . They don't need any land to launch any jihad if they wanted to.

Don't get ahead of yourself.

mostly of them would move to neighbouring States of Enugu and abia and constitute menace to the locals.
can't those other states pass their own laws?

Thank God Benue state can have peace. This is the hand of God. Other state governors should do same. Fulani herdsmen are terrorist.

The governor who ran to Aso Rock to pledge his support for open grazing while his people were been killed with their corpses everywhere, courtesy, the pa Buhari's untouchables, the fulani herdsmen. I am glad mr ortom learn'nt the hard way before enacting the law after his farm was emptied by the cattles that are more important than the none fulanis people.
