The incident occurred at Kpansia, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Nigeria between the Kpansia community and the Nigerian Police.

Binafeya.com gathered that Corporal David Napoleon, a police officer attached to the Department of Operations at the Bayelsa State Police Command at around 3AM on Friday 27th October shot and killed an indigene named Joseph Tomizibe of the Kpansia community clamming that the 13 years old young man and his group attempted to collect his gun.

This caused a lot of panic in Yenagoa town leading to a road block along the Mbiama Yenagoa road, Kpansia axis.

The crisis which caused a massive traffic continued with the presents of several police vans trying to subdue the situation but the community members insisted that the police should bring the police officer that made the killer shot and must be brought to justice.

Binafeya.com also gathered that the police officer was a resident in same compound with the deceased victim and they have both had several confrontations.

The situation continued until the Yenagoa Caretaker Committee Chairman, Oforji Oboku came to the scene to calm things down and the Chairman said in his speech that “It was a sad day for such crisis to occur to the Kpansia community, that he is part of it now that he will make sure proper investigation is done that they should please clear the road to reduce the traffic that he will take things to the higher level of justice”.

A community member had to bring out an image of the police officer that made the shot. All this was captured in our video below.

However, the Central Zone leadership of the Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) faulted the claims of the police.

Watch the video of the clash below:

As usual nothing would be done, the force offers a dry apology, officer redeployed to another station, case closed!

Avoid these monsters at all cost, a dead man tell no tales!
