He was disengaged through procedure during the GEJ administration. If he was reinstated illegally during the PMB admin, then discharging him again shouldn't bring about this much noise because he was reinstated illegally in the first place place.

Wallade:
" A serving director in one of the Federal Government ministries, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution, explained that irrespective of the gravity of the offence, an accused person was entitled to an opportunity to defend himself or herself before further action could be taken.

He, however, added that in the event the person failed to honour the summons when opportunities were provided, a decision to discipline in accordance with the rules would apply.

The director stated, “It will require first that a query be issued to the person concerned; he can then be warned as the case may be and then a board/committee will be set up to investigate the matter.

“And in the course of its investigations, the board has powers, according to our rules, to summon the accused person to defend himself. It is after this procedure is carefully followed that further action can be taken.”

If Maina was disengaged from Civil Service under the previous administration as we were made to believe, then his reinstatement in September 2017 is null and void abinitio because we are made to believe that his reinstatement was not even done by the Head of Service and followed no due process.

Hence, whatever the director is saying is inconsequential in Maina's case.

God bless you.I didn't even see this your post when I made mine. That this administration is dwelling on legal process shows that there is more to this that meets the eye. An illegal process doesn't need much technicalities to reverse.

I said it that bubu is as criminally liable as his appointees, why didnt he ordered for his arrest when he made pronouncement for disengagement?
also, which kind nonsense be the due process for disengagement? was he duly re-engage or the previous disengagement was not according to due process?

Desyner:

It is now clear APC can't justify any of its actions without dragging PDP into it.
Even if PDP truly have vested interest in Maina, being the 'anti-corruption' party APC is, what is APC suppose to do ? Reinstate and protect him ?
Think and stop acting all zombie.
