The most corrupt Chairman of National Hajj Commission, Alh. Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad who is alleged to be responsible for grand theft and massive extortion of Hajj Pilgrims, running into billions of naira is now helping Nigerian Civil Society concentrate on his illicit activities by suing IG Wala for defamation.

CATBAN has been investigating massive fraud, committed under the guise of religion at the National Hajj Commission between 2016- 2017 under the Chairmanship of Abdullahi Mukhtar. Just last week thursday,Senate Ad-Hoc Committee on National Hajj Commission and the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) had threatened to issue a warrant of arrest against the Chairman of NAHCON, Alhaji Abdullahi Muktar. According to the committee, the NAHCON boss has refused to honour three different invitations sent to him to appear before it for explanations on alleged extortions of pilgrims and exorbitant hajj fees. However, unlike the Senate Committee that is waiting for the man to appear before it behind close door, CATBAN had been investigating the numerous allegations against the chairman and our investigation so far has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that Mr Mukhtar is culpable. Upon realizing that CATBAN already have all the details needed to bring him to justice, the chairman ran to court to take shield, under the guide of seeking protection against defamation. But this is a message for the chairman, Oga, there is no hiding place for you. In Islam, theft, fraud and extortion amount to grave sin with severe punishment.

your useless comment won't guide our thoughts and reactions- we condemn his actions and want him prosecuted.

Every year, they go to Mecca...boost their IGR,deplete our own funds back here in these hard times.

Every year, they go to Israel,...boost their IGR,using subsidy funds down here,

It's not like they come back to impact what they have learnt...
Why can't these 2 countries come to Nigeria,yearly......we have tourist attraction sites here 2.
Government should hands off pilgrimage entirely,if one needs to go,let it be at your own cost and stop pressing our little funds, recession and corruption left for us,by inducing more corruption.
