CONTEDISS and CONTISS are exactly the same.

Neither are the salary structure for Medics and Academics, so it has nothing to do with the argument.

If I work as an accountant in a Teaching Hospital does not make me a Medic and be paid from the Medic salary structure.

As for who gets paid more between Medics and Academics. Some facts:

1) Medics have a higher starting salary at the lowest tier.

2) Academics have a higher salary at the highest tier.

3) But Medics have less tiers, so easier to climb up salary structure.

4) Medics also have multiple allowances that can be used to top up normal salaries (Call Duty, Rural work etc.)

no o, no hazard allowance, no 13th month salary, but it depends on some MDAs, like mine i do go for official assignment like once or twice in a year for my level now, so i see small change to augment with my salary, yours may have hazard allowance, congrats.
