Hi nairaland it's amazing what simple things can do to boost your business,especially now that we are so close to our potential clients via the internet. Today I would talk about the benefits of creating a portfolio and show you the one I created that has really helped a lot. A portfolio is a document containing a choice/selection of some of your works which you can then send to potential clients on Facebook,email, post on your pages etc.

Portfolio is not just for artistic people or photographers. I am a graphics designer but even a repair man,plumber anyone can get creative and create a simple portfolio. Eg posting pictures of before and after a repair was done etc. A portfolio is a business man way of releasing a mixtape. Here's mine you can follow the format or do something new as you like. Just let it be simple and to the point

a content page is optional but a good add. you can also add a short story about yourself on the side

finally a thank you page. what I did was research on instagram, LinkedIn etc on those who seem like potential clients that may need my services and sent them a simple message and to view my portfolio and tell me what they thought. I got a ton of great advice, new friends and new clients as well.
