Last Sunday, we discussed Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses; however this week has a new dimension, Christ Embassy.

Here are few things, maybe, you never knew:
.
1. Pastor Chris founded Christ Embassy right from school.
Yes, the founder, Chris Oyakhilome founder the ministry in his course of study whilst at Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in Edo state, Nigeria.

.
2. Anita divorced Pastor Chris with charges of womanizing.

Yes, Anita, Chris' wife accused him of sleeping with his female church goers.
.
3. All the other pastors and most members mimick Pastor Chris.

The other pastors mimick their founder in everything, dressing, hair style, speech, pattern.

Their church goers are no exception. In a Sunday morning when people are preparing to go to their various churches, you would see a young man retouching his hair to return curls.
.
4. They started as a prayer team to be a big congregation. Dating back to when they started, it was a small prayer team, but now a global church. In fact, they run most of the religious channels in Africa and diaspora on Satellite.
.
Their church goers may work in the church too, and believe you me, they earn big-ger than you working the same work elsewhere! With the launch of the Rhaspody of Realities, it has shifted the work too, to evangelism and it's somewhat cool (...) Moreover, during their progress, scandalous reports were attributed to the church and founder for money laundering, sex scandal, using their female members; wife and daughters alike, etc.
.
Around sometime in 2012, Pastor Chris gave also a theory that bombed religiou-city. He said masturbation was no sin, neither was smoking or being alcoholic! Other notable pastor shot back at him though. His very words: '"the reason you are thinking of stopping it (masturbation) is because you think it has become a habit for you0„30…2 masturbation is not more than a habit than any other habit.... no matter how wrong you think this is in your mind, get this straight, in itself, it is not a sin against God,'', '"there is nothing wrong with Cigarette, the Bible doesn't say anything was wrong with it... I know a lot of people do complain about it because of the relationship attached to it with some sicknesses like cancer...but if they really believe it is wrong why not ban it totally.
It is the same thing when you have Christians working in the Breweries. The Bible doesn't condemn alcohol. The only reference made to alcohol in the Bible is 'do not take too much of wine'. So you see these things has to do with the individual state...if they are convince something is not good they should just ban it..."
'
.
I'm still pondering what he meant. sad
.
5. Most of their female evangelists dresses are revealing. Since wearing trousers is not a crime for ladies in the religion, it happens that, most time, they wear revealing dresses. I think sth has to be altered here.
.
.
These are few of what our research gave, what do you think?

6. It started with a different name; Believers Loveworld Fellowship & then Believes's Loveworld Inc. before its present name.

7. Some people are alledging that the church is run kinda like a business. The reason? The pastor of a particular branch is xpected to bring in more money than he/she did the previous week

Looking at the Bible, Christ embassy is not classified as a church.

The verse in context was referring to hypocritical judgement. Another verse told us to judge rightly

It's true, though.
