‌Chairman of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Jos East district, in Plateau State, Josiah Waziri Fursum has been assassinated by gunmen.

This was made known during the weekend through a statement signed by the Party’s Director of Media, Kayode Jacobs.

According to Jacobs, the body of the late Fursum was riddled with 16 bullets.

He alleged that the killing had a political motive.

“Chairman of Action Democratic Party ADP Jos East in Plateau State, Josiah Waziri Fursum, was murdered by assassins last night”, the spokesman noted.

“His body was said to have been riddled with 16 bullets of the assassins.

“We urge security officials to do the needful as we suspect political motive.

“Josiah Waziri was until his murder a leading light in Plateau Politics.”
