Switch off the phone,On it again. Input your code/pattern. Delete your old fingerprint and register new one.

it might be a hardware problem. Use a clean and soft cloth to clean the fingerprint area and try it again.

I'm using a gionee s6s... It just stopped detecting all of a sudden after i charged it when the battery ran flat.I tried deleting the registered fingerprints and readding but it failed...... Has anyone faced this type of issue and is there any possible solution

I experienced ds same flaws on my infinix note 3 Pro exactly a month ago and got it fixed 24 hours at carlcare, ibadan... U can take it to gionee service centre and got it fixed up if it's under warranty as mine was under warranty wen it was fixed free of charge
