According to The United
Nations Security Council (UNSC)
"the Boko Haram insurgents
operating in the Lake Chad Basin
have NOT been defeated yet contrary to claims by the Buharia government". Is UNSC right about this?.


1. January 13 - Boko Haram
attacked the 119 Battalion and
133 Special Forces Battalion of 7
Brigade deployed to Kangarwa,
Kukawa Local Government Area,
Borno state, three soldiers were killed.

2. January 16 - (UNIMAID) in
2017, a twin suicide bombing by
two teenagers on the school
campus resulted in the death of
three people, including Professor
Aliyu Mani, the director of the university's Veterinary Teaching
Hospital.

3. January 23 - After invading the
Dzaku village of Askira-Uba Local
Government Area of Borno state,
Boko Haram fighters killed eight
people and kidnapped an
undetermined number of women and children.

4. January 25 - A civilian member
of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in the
Kaleri district of Maïduguri, Borno
lost his life after two suicide
bombers detonated their vests
upon confrontation while trying to enter a mosque.

5. January 28 - Boko Haram
terrorists, killed seven people.
There were reports that claimed
that the number of casualties was
actually more than 20 civilians in
a convoy that had been travelling under military escort.

6. January 31 - One person died
after a suicide bomber attacked a
mosque in Dalori quarters, close
to UNIMAID, during morning
prayers. Another attack on a
Cameroonian border town of Kontcha killed five United Nations
contractors; a Kenyan, a
Cameroonian, and three
Nigerians.

7. Feb 5 - Boko Haram launched
an attack on a military base and
went ahead to burn down
Sasawa, a town in Yobe state.

8. Feb 10 - Seven soldiers lost their
lives after troops of Operation Lafiya Dole fell into a Boko Haram
ambush in Ajiri village of Dikwa
LGA, Borno state.

9. Feb 11 - Terrorists invaded
Mussa Village, Borno, burning
dozens of residential houses with
a man suspected to have been
trapped in the attack.

10. Feb 13 - About 30 armed BH terrorists gained access to Mifa community in Chibok LGA, killing an Islamic scholar.

11. February 16 - An attack by
three suicide bombers near Muna
Garage, a bus station in
Maiduguri, left two civilians dead.


12. March 14 - Boko Haram
released a video that showed the execution of three people
accused of being spies for the
Nigerian army.

13. March 15 - Boko Haram
terrorists attacked Magumeri in
Borno state, killing seven people.

14. March 16 - Four soldiers died
in another attack on Magumeri
after an estimated 300 Boko Haram fighters targeted the
military and a local police station.

15. March 25 - Militants
kidnapped 18 girls and four
women from Pulka village in
Gwoza.

16. March 30 - In two
separate attacks, Boko Haram
successfully abducted 22 girls and women from the village of
Pulka and outside the village of
Dumba.

17.March 31 - At least three
people were killed by Boko
Haram in an attack on Kaye near
Gumisirivillage in Damboa Local
Government Area of Borno,
where terrorists burnt down the village and kidnapped dozens of
people, including three women.

18. April 5 - Boko Haram fighters
killed seven men in a farming
community outside Maiduguri,
and stole an estimated 360 head
of livestock.

19. April 12 - A soldier was killed during a suicide and gun attack on a military checkpoint on the outskirts of Maiduguri.

20. May 4 - An attack by two
female suicide bombers on Mandarari ward in Konduga LGA in Borno resulted in the death of 5 people.

21. May 13 - In another attack on UNIMAID, two suicide bombers detonated their vests when they were confronted, killing themselves & 1 security guard.

22. May 15 - A suicide bomb
attack by three female bombers
resulted in the death of two
people in Shuwari Buri village,
close to Maiduguri.

23. May 18 - In two separate attacks, three suicide bombers were killed when they attacked UNIMAID again, reportedly killing one soldier.

24. May 20 - Seven people died
when Boko Haram fighters
stormed remote villages in Mussa
and shot at villagers in Askira-
Uba LGA, Borno state. An
unspecified number of people were also reportedly kidnapped.

25. June 7 - In multiple attacks
that rocked the eastern axis of
Maiduguri, at least 10 people
were killed.

26. June 8 - After the arrest of a
Boko Haram commander in a
failed attack in the village of
Hambagba, near Gwoza, on the
Cameroon border, almost a
dozen terrorists invaded the community, killing four people
and kidnapping six.

27. June 9 - 2boys were killed in
Fadama Rake village in,
Adamawa, after unknown pple
handed them explosives
contained in a polythene bag.

28. June 11 - After simultaneous raids by BH terrorists on Komdi &
Tuyan villages in Borno, at least 5
pple were reportedly killed.

29. June 18 - 12 people were
killed by three suicide bombers
who detonated explosives in
separate attacks on Kofa, a
village that’s only 8 kilometers
from Maiduguri.

30. June 20 - After an ambush
attack by militants on a police
convoy on the Maiduguri-Biu
highway, three people were
killed while 16 women were
reportedly kidnapped. Boko Haram later released a video,
claiming some of the kidnapped
women were police officers.

31. June 25 – A UNIMAID security
guard was killed by a suicide
bomber, while eight others died
in another attack by four suicide
bombers in Zannari community in
Maiduguri.

32. July 11 - 12 JTF members and
seven civilians were killed in
separate attacks on Moloi,
Judumeri and Polo-Sabongari
areas of Maiduguri.

33. July 15 - A 12-year-old boy
was killed at Muna Delti area of
Jere LGA, Borno, after he was
strapped with an IED by
suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

34. July 17 - Eight people were killed when a female suicide
bomber detonated explosives at
a mosque in Maiduguri.

35. July 23 - 7 people died when
suicide bombers attacked two
IDPs camps in Maiduguri.

36. July 25 - In what was Boko Haram's bloodiest attack in 2017, at least 69 pple, including soldiers and civilians, died after an ambush of
an oil exploration team in the
Magumeri area of Borno.

37. July 28 - At least 8 pple were
killed and 14 others injured in a
suicide bomb attack on an IDP
camp in Dikwa LGA, Borno.

38. August 1 - After an attack on
Mildu village in Madagali LGA of Adamawa state, Boko Haram
terrorists killed 7 people and
injured 10 others.

39. Aug 4 - A suicide bomb
attack at the Molai General
Hospital, Maiduguri led to D death
of 3 people including a hospital
assistant.

40. Aug 5 - At least 31
fishermen were killed by Boko Haram jihadists in two separate
attacks on the islands of Duguri
and Dabar Wanzam in Lake Chad

41. August 9 - At least one
person was confirmed dead from
an attack by Boko Haram
Islamists in Ghumbili community
in the Madagali LGA of Adamawa.

42. August 11 - Two tractor operators were killed by Boko
Haram terrorists in Jere LGA of
Borno while they were working
on a farm.

43. August 12 - At least four
people were killed in an attack at
Wanori-Amarwa community of
Konduga LGA of Borno.

44. August 15 - A suicide bomb
attack on a market in Konduga resulted in the death of 16
people, with more than 80 others
sustaining injuries.

45. Aug 20 - Two people were
killed following an ambush by
suspected Boko H terrorists
along Damaturu-Biu road in
Yobe.

46. Sept 8 - Boko Haram
fighters kill 9 farmers in the nine bodies were dumped Friday in
Gongulong, about 13 kilometers
(8 miles) east of the state capital.

47. September 3 – 11 killed y
Boko Haram fighters in a raid on
a camp for civilians ... 130km
southeast of the city of Maiduguri
in Borno stateSeptemebnr 5 – 4
killed in Maiduguri.

48. September 6 – 8 killed in Maidguri by Boko
Haram.

49. September10 - At least seven
people were killed when Boko
Haram jihadists attacked an IDP
Camp. The attack, near the
border with Cameroon, came as
two people were killed in an explosion outside another camp
in the Borno state capital,
Maiduguri.

50. September 18 – 15 killed
Mashalari village of the Konduga
area, about 40km from Borno
state capital Maiduguri.

51. September 26 5 killed at Didwa

52. Oct 8 - Eight soldiers are
reportedly feared killed after
Boko Haram terrorists launched
attack on a military base in
Sasawa, a community close to
Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

53. Oct 12 - Five people were
killed in a suicide bomb attack
when Boko Haram raided a
remote village in northeast
Nigeria, the attack happened at
Belbelu village, near Kayamla, in the Konduga area of Borno state,
at about 10:00 am (0900 GMT).

54. Oct 22 – 13 killed at Maidguri.

55. Oct 30 4 killed he Nigerian
Army on Tuesday said four
passengers were killed and six
others wounded when Boko
Haram insurgents attacked travellers on Banki-Maiduguri
road.

56. Nov 6 - Suspected members
of the Boko attacked Bakin Dutse
village as they advanced to Gulak
administrative headquarters of
Madagali LGA of Adamawa state.

57. Nov 8 - The Nigerian military
has confirmed the death of one
soldier in attack on Gulak town
by Boko Haram insurgents. At
least two residents of the town
are believed to have died in the attack. Gulak in Madagali LGA,
Borno State.

a man from adamawa told me that Nigerians are complaining that there's no change.. but in adamawa state they know they are seeing change, atleast sanity has returned to the state.. god bless buhari nd the chief of staffs..

soldiers and a militiaman were
killed in a Boko Haram ambush
on the edge of Sambisa Forest,
military and militia sources told
AFP Saturday. The ambush occurred as troops returned to base late Friday in the town of Gwoza.

59. November 14 - Multiple blasts
rock Maiduguri, the capital of
Borno state, many killed while
scores injured. Residents say
“four bombers” invaded Muna
garage along Gamboru Ngala road.

60. November 15 - At about 1813hrs, 4 suicide bombers, infiltrated Muna Gari community in konduga LGA, and detonated IED strapped to their bodies at different locations, 18 civilians killed, while 29 others got seriously injured.

61. November 18 - The Borno State Police Command has on Saturday confirmed deadly suicide attacks at the outskirt of Maiduguri metropolis, which it said, two suicide bombers and a teenage boy were killed while four others seriously injured.

62. November 21 - 15 people killed following an explosion in a mosque in Mubi, Adamawa State, North East Nigeria. It was gathered that the blast occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning while worshippers were holding prayer.

Please! People should stop raising alarm over the boko haram issue. FG has said they've been defeated and every other thing we see are just expendable soft targets...These include the soldiers, armoured tanks, police stations and of course mosques and civilians being decimated in their tens and hundreds.

For the FG, these are sure signs of victory and the IDP camps are testimony to that! Even those the Army bombarded in their camps are soft targets too so chill, boko haram has been technically and summarily defeated!

Ambush and killed 6 and injured 12.
A military officer in Maiduguri said Sunday’s ambush happened when troops were on patrol between the villages of Nyeneri and Falawani.
