Details:
The target is to harvest 3,000 big balls of watermelon per 2km drip irrigation system around February, March or April 2018 when the market price would be about N400 per ball depending on when yours is planted.
It takes 75 days to harvest.

Farm Locations:
A). Iro. On papalanto-ofada road. 20 minutes walk to the farm from the major road.

Source of water: Ogun-Osun river.

B). Our phase 3 farm at lapado village. 15 minutes bike ride from lukosi market on papalanto-ofada road.

Source of water: Borehole.

Learning advantage:
You can participate in all or part of the farming process in order to be able to do it yourself in future. The hands on learning is free for all participants and their friends.

Cost: N450k.
This covers land preparation, pest and weed control, nutrients application and irrigation up to harvesting.

Payment:
Flexible payment for the crops maintenance after the initial set up cost of 300k.

Returns on investment:

3,000 big balls of watermelon remains the target and price per ball at that period will average N400 depending on size.

A farm allocation paper will be issued and land marked out for easy identification of each person's farm.

Bonus:
For any one that can harvest on or before 14th February 2018, gets automatic ticket for a 2nd round of production of another Batch of 3,000 balls due for harvest in April 2018 at N200k.
