My bae is in the habit of ordering our food and serving it on the table whenever we go to eat at the school canteen while I sit and wait! Although she goes with my wallet to pay for the food! When we went to eat this morning, we met her coursemate at the canteen eating! After they exchanged greetings, she went to serve our food! Before the guy left, he excused her for a munite to say that she's not suppose to serve me food as a woman! He said a lot of things that could be wrong with it! My bae thinks he may be right or wrong but I think he's wrong! Please what do you guys here in the house think? |

All I see here is a clash of culture and mentality; the African mentality vis-à-vis its foreign counterpart. But the thing here is: Is your Girl complaining? If she isn't, then it's perfectly okay. Though, it looks more gentlemanly to order the food for your partner, especially when it's a public outing. That's the natural order of things. You shouldn't let a third party dictate for you, abeg. This is a case of whatever rocks your boat as long as you both have an understanding. |

Well if it were her choice to be serving you food in the first place and you didn’t ask her to do it, she has all right to stop it if she wants to. But you also should endeavor to order food for you two when you go to eat. It doesn’t take anything from you as a man. In fact girls like it more when you know what they like.
