Jesus! Why not send the girl back? I keep saying women should give birth to the number of kids they can care for on their own. Why born like rats and send them off as maids? Chai! Some women lack human feelings. How do you treat a child who came complete to you this way?

Atleast the man or husband can defend themselves, this poor child can not, not as hard as an adult.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where the MAN/HUSBAND is demonized, right from when they are little BOYS!

Did you not notice that all the NGO are about Women and Girls, ~(`so it can appear sympathetic).... But its like BOYS live in heaven and they never experience all these problems that women and girls experience?

In real life, we all know the Male Child goes through worse things than the Female but they are conditioned by those who oppress them "to be STRONG and BOTTLE IT ALL UP" LIKE A 'REAL MAN'
. grin grin grin

Statements like "Boys dont cry", "take it on the Chin like a real man", e.t.c, are coined to make the MALE child hard and unfeeling, while suffering in silence.

Males are viewed/treated like Donkeys: Work and Run but never stop when you are tired.....just collapse and die when it your body cant absorb the punishement anymore
Everytime, Cardiac Arrest
grin grin

She should be thrown from the same spot too. If she survives it that is good if not that will serve her right.

The young girl should be taken to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in the state this occurred, this is under their purview, and the matter reported to the police for them to arrest and possibly prosecute, if not she would probably kill that child, anytime she feels like.

According to the story shared by Francesca,a heartless madam inflicted injuries on her maid in Lagos by throwing her down from the second floor of a building. The photos have been trending with many suggesting that the madam should be dealt with.Below is what Francesca wrote....

'Thrown from the second floor by her madam.  Deep lacerations and contours.  Terrible.  What can be done please.  Just tired of this madness'.I hereby sentence her to life imprisonment.

This is heartbreaking! There is nothing on earth that this young girl could have done to warrant such treatment. This is attempted murder. Consequently, the Police to spring into action and arrest this demonic woman and then prosecute her for: attempted murder; endangering the welfare of a child; and for assault of minor.
The Ministry of Women/Youth, The Police, and even the Governor of the state should get involve and see that justice is done for this girl. The injury and trauma that this girl has suffered is almost certainly going to alter her entire life. I feel so terrible for her.

By the way this whole housemaid and houseboy thing should be banned in this country! Unpaid labor is worst than slavery!
Again, the authorities should arrest this woman immediately and when she is locked up, some prison inmate should beat the shit out of her and she should also be thrown from a second floor so she an tastes how it feels like.

If the authorities refuse to arrest this bastard woman, this girl's family members should physically attack the woman and kill her and her entire family! Please someone should post a picture of the woman and the house address. She needs to be taught a lesson

Everything you and the person you quoted said, are very correct.

But we must be careful not to "throw away the baby, with the bath water", literally speaking.
What l mean is this:
RESPECT is a very important virtue of Life, which most Africans have ingrained in them.
On the other hand, WICKED ARROGANCE is also a very bad virtue, which is very common in Africa.
The two are NOT THE SAME and the former is not the cause of the latter
.

What you are observing is wicked arrogance, something which can be tackled with Legislation (punishment) while still keeping our "respect culture".
For instance, in Africa, you wont find a son slapping his father or asking his father to eff-off as is common in the West.
You wont find a father taking his child to court, over not paying rent in his father's house! shocked shocked
What you will find is the younger ones, showing respect to the older ones, in greeting, in helping them to carry heavy things, in standing up fpr them in Buses, in obedience, e.t.c.

But on the other hand, we have aband of "wicked elders" who take pride in lording itover the less fortunate ones.
Look at our NASS for example, you have "people's representative" who cannot approve #18,000 minimum wage (citing no funds) but wickedly approve #29Million take-home pay for themselves! That is wicked arrogance that has nothing to do with the concept of "respect".

You have office Bosses see themselves as a kind of demi-god and their surbodinates as inhuman slaves!
They steal from the profit of the company to buy houses all over the place while owing workers their salary.

We have Public Servants at the top level, who are supposed to supervise the implementation of policies for the 'common good' buying and riding bigger and higher SUV's to counter the giant Pot-holes on the road, instead of repairing the road.
They build higher and higher fences, instead of tackling the root cuases of Crime.
They run abroad for medical treatment, instead of building and improving existing Hospital care facilities.
Even our President, since he came back from his medical treatment abroad, l have not heard him declare an ememrgency (with real actions) on our hospitals. I guess if he gets sick again, he will still run to the U.K to get treated while the common man is left to die here.

I can go on and on.
And you cansee from the examples above, that RESPECT, which is actually a good thing, is not the problem.
What we lack are the requisite LEGISLATION and the Political Will to implement them, to deal with such wicked actions of those in positions of authority.
We must keep our 'respect culture' while tackling those that abuse the less priviledged in the society

Thank you for that impressive outlook and analysis of things as they are.

The sad thing about nature is that maids are always seen as the underdogs.

In reality, most maids deserve no pity.
But throwing a maid overboard literally is overboard.
I see her sweet small boobs. Did u?? grin cheesy angry grin
