Business Development Manager Vacancy

A fast growing consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria is looking to bring on board a Business Development Manager.

Job Requirements
· Act on marketing-generated leads and referrals, ensuring all opportunities are effectively progressed
· Self-generate leads and help drive revenue working with the Sales Executives
· Create and manage a sales pipeline
· Document and track activities on all aspects of the sales process
· Meet and exceed established monthly and quarterly revenue objectives
· Be knowledgeable in writing reports
· Overseeing development of marketing literature
· Work within a team environment;
· Manage internal and external resources to execute objectives and strategy
· Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
participating in professional organizations.
· Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add
value to job accomplishments.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experiences Required:
· A track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned targets
· Proven track-record in direct / inside sales
· Experience of selling.
· Bachelor degree required
· Demonstrated success in strategic and consultative selling
· A deep understanding of marketing principles
· High intelligence and mental acuity
· A positive attitude
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a flair for public speaking
· Hunter mentality
· Highly driven and self-motivated
· Strong business acumen; polished, and articulate, comfortable selling and presenting to any level of management
