9jja:i wonder o! i thought they were voted in and Appointed to fix the Economy but they are consulting the malaysians. perharps nigerians should have voted and elected the malays from the start, Does it now means that the malays knows more About nigerias Economy than our Appointed and elected Gorverment? so nigerians have wasted all that time voting and electing the president only for the president to consult the malays on nigerias Economy?. These old bald heads really are confused. 2 Likes |

So FG has run out of ideas. Upon all the professional Nigerians who can do this job. Anyway I don't blame them. Nigerians are a docile bunch. When the president should be resigning for such a stupid decision in sane countries. Later they will say they can't fund budget, yet spending money on useless things. Why do you then have a CBN governor, if he can't make these decisions? |

Wow!Wow!! Wow!!!...It took this Administation 3years and 5 months to admit that they are not competent enough to stir the ship of this country back to recovery....Well, there is nothing wrong in lacking expertise but taking such a long time to take active step is a waste of our time.... |

Does it mean with all the universities and Professors in this zoo we don't have erudite economists or professionals to do this?. Is Nigeria this brainless. When we employ expatriates in the technology sector i thought it was cos of the need for technologies we lack here. So it goes beyond that. |

project which has reportedly been in the making for over 40 years. 40 years? Under the worthless PDP and their 16 years of looting and stealing and largest earnings in the history of Nigeria, this could have been done in less than 5 years without borrowing 1 kobo. Thank God we know have competent and credible people in power today. God bless Nigeria. |

ivandragon:You should understand that nigeria CANNOT fund the project at over $5.7bn hence it had to get a loan from the Chinese. Now, the Chinese will not give you cash per we like the western countries and the stifle you with interest and fees which will put you in perpetual servitude, rather they will handle the job themselves for that amount. It's a win win situation because the funds will not be looted by our politicians because due to non involvement of cash and the Chinese are experts in Dam construction as well as doing it for a reasonable cost. As to why local contractors are not being used? Simple, this project is very complex and require very high level of expertise. It's not road, airport or even a bridge that anyone can do. The risks of not building a Dam properly can have huge environmental effects, one which we will not recover from |

BeeBeeOoh:The most foolish animal is the ostrich, even God confirms it 's sense is taken away from him. He buries the young ones in the ground to be crushed the same way he buries his head when being pursued leaving his entire body outside. Go to heaven and bring consultants, wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse. Yes ; the bible said that. An unbalanced pot will continue to be a nightmare to the cook, spills, wounds, burns, food waste e.t.c. A foolish cook will continue hoping that his nightmare will miraculously stop,he might even hire consultants to advise him on how to eliminate food waste as he buys time just like the ostrich. The wise cook on the other hand solves the problem once and for all by addressing the issue of pot balance and every other thing will follow. Without restructuring and true federalism, the circle continues. |

They said the economic downtrend was as a result of oil low prices, now that oil price is increasing, they remember the need serviced of experts. Next, they will ask Nigerians to give them another term to implement the outcome of this dubious scheme. Shame on all those professors and their so claim enlightened supporters who voted this government into power. |
