We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:
Consultant – Exchange Development (Marketing)
Location – Abuja, Nigeria
Job type – Full time
Specialisation – Sales/Business development

JOB SUMMARY
As a business development manager, you will be required to sell our exchange services to tertiary institutions. Your key activity is to recruit schools and professional certification bodies to join the network.

• Your role here is to grow the number of tertiary institutions that participate on the network. It is expected that all activities from identifying the institution to actual sign-up on the exchange fall within your remit.
• You are also responsible for growing and maintaining any business to business relationships the firms maintains in an attempt to grow income from schools currently not on the exchange. For example, partnerships with educational services companies.
• Create and maintain of list of potential target schools, their contacts and document all correspondences with target schools.
• Sending out of proposals, scheduling and managing meetings and presentations to institutions top governing bodies.
• Making constant and regular follow up calls and checks to marketed bodies to ensure that a favorable decision is made.
• All the related activities to the functions above must be recorded within the firm’s CRM system.

Verification Functions
You will be required to sell our verification services. Your core responsibility here is to bring in paid verification subjects to the firm:
• Researching and identifying potential clients: This involves targeting a company that may require verification service.
• Sending out brochures and proposals
• Chasing up on potential customers
• Bringing in verification subjects: This involves gaining a deal from the identified client and winning business for the firm.
• All the related activities to the functions above must be recorded within the firm’s CRM system.

SKILLS
• Exceptional market and customer awareness skills.
• Excellent networking skills.
• Strong presentation/communication skills with good understanding of business to business environment and excellent business acumen.
• Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Confident and dynamic personality
• Ability to build rapport


JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum required experience – 3 years
• Qualification – BSc/MBA
