Pls House! I am contemplating whether to buy lamlad biology or explicit biology to support my biology textbook. Which one is more better for UI Post UTME among the two? I read on this thread that Explicit Biology is very good but I am not sure of it. Cc Pes13, Ajet001, KingOvo, CondomSir, fashmann, samuelizz, EngrBello and other bosses I can't remember. Though anybody's opinion will be appreciated.

Go for Explicit. Lamlad biology is not that good. Only Lamlad physics and chemistry is far better than even some textbook.

If you calculate the molar mass of CH2O,it'll give you 30...the answer should be the one that is a simple multiple of 30

oxidation number varies with each compound like in CO and in CO2(ii& iv respectively)
but valence is the number of electrons in the outermost shell of an element available for bonding

Cut off mark for Human Nutrition as at last year was 58. You already have 27.125 by dividing ur jamb score by 8, so it remains 30.875 to reach the cut off. You have to aim for 62+ in post utme because the cut off may increase or decrease.

Now we all know that (empirical formulae) n = relative atomic mass right
Empirical formulae for d compound is ch2o=12+(2*1)+16=30

n=is always a whole number
With dis said you should know Dat d molecular formulae /relative atomic mass should be s multiple of d empirical formulae (30 in dis case)
In d above option only - is a multiple ...u should be able to get it now with d explanation

2.
Valency is defined as d combination power of an element invariably d determinant of a chemical combination

Oxidation number is d charge an atom as both in free or combined state

Atomic number is d number of proton in an element

And electronagativity is d tendency to attract electron.. Which is limited to only non metals

So with d following definition u should be able to pin point d answer ur self abi.

After I google searched it, I found out dat rubber latex is a mixture. You can also google search it. Thanks for the explanation tho.
