Disassemble and place inside a bag of rice for 24 to 48 hours, this should absorb the excess moisture. Tested and trusted.

Maybe its not completely dried, put it inside rice or garri to drain moisture completely, just try it I know it sounds weird

It is better to take your phone to gionee calcare center for proper maintenance. Yes that is a sign your charging point have gone bad.

Putting the phone in rice can't solved the problem you having with it...you need to disassemble the whole phone to cleanup the water from the panel...that the best option now cause in few days without doing so it still gonna had another issue or ur phone might just stop working...check signature for more info

You should open your phone and clean it (dry it) as best as you can. Or take it to a repair shop so they can do it for you.

I dropped a phone in water as well and I didn't try it well. A few months down the line, my phone stopped completely all of a suden.
