@SuperMOds, @Seun and fellow NLs please I need all of you to share this if you haven't already.

Here's a link to CNN's undercover video of Nigerians migrants being sold at auctions into slavery by Libyans:

We need to hear from our leaders what they are going to do about this!

Thanks.

as much as this is a shameful act, we need to blame BOTH parties for this madness. i mean, how can you PAY some foreign strangers human trafficker (in the middle of the desert) to bundle you into some truck/boat to get you in some foreign lands, and then turn around and point fingers at the "same" human traffickers when they sell you to slave traders?!?!?! would you even try that in Nigeria, let alone the desert in Libya?!?!?!? haba!

these people are demons and there was a big protest yesterday in front of the libyans embassy in Paris, but let us warn our brothas against going for greener pasture via criminal human traffickers.

first they were taking these people's money and then sinking their boats in the Mediterranean sea, but this didnt stop our brothas?!? that was when we should have already said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

When illegal migrants are treated unfairly, locked up without due process, sexually abused and even in some even "killed", these are lessons to our brothers to stay away from these places and shady traveling transactions. There's isn't much our government can do about this because the evidence aren't as clear cut and star witnesses are already of questionable character. But there are international laws against the trade of humans as commodities in whatever form. I expect our Government to hear loud and clear from our government on this..., In some countries, the Libyan Ambassador would have been waiting in the reception area for the last 5 hours honoring the invitation of the president.

i know the video is hard to watch, but let us all remember that these same migrants went "willfully" to give criminal human traffickers money to do an illegal act, which in return they did another. the world governments have been trying for decades to eradicate these human trafficking syndicates WITHOUT SUCCESS, and it wont change tomorrow....so let us hope that such video makes our brothas and sistas understand that there are NO ELDORADO going illegally to Europe, via the desert OR any other way!
