The problem reallly is healthcare funding. A politician comes in and starts yelling 'Free health care', N60000 Caesarean!' 'Free care for children under 15 years of age' 'Elderly pay 25% of the costs'....and everyone cheers , not minding where the money is going to come from. If Fayose wants to keep the hospitals open he has to RAISE THE hospital FEES. Or he 1. Starts raising taxes to half of everyone's salary 2.On top of the taxes, starts charging 'council tax' of N60000 and above. 3.Starts privatizing the teaching hospital... Fayose and many governors are not doing us well. But you cannot get a brand new 2017 BMW car at the price of a keke napep.Health care is not a free of charge thing. 2 Likes |
