Why do people hate Oliseh?

Always the FA has issues with coaches even the late Keshi.

They had issues with Amodu Shuaib who lost only one game as manager yet was sacked, all the foreign coaches even up to Westerhorf were at loggerheads with the FA.

Oliseh has gone to the Netherlands now and can be seen to be performing.


Hate is not the word. How can you like someone who doesn’t like himself? I’m not one of his fans btw. Dude is arrogant and so full of himself. Don’t ask me to explain. Oliseh has personal and interpersonal issues. He need to deal with that.

“He is performing in Netherlands”??. Not yet. It’s too early to make that conclusion. If he was managing Remo stars and achieved the supposedly degree of success he had in Holland, would you still rate him?

Oliseh should’ve started with Eaglets or Flying Eagles before the Super Eagles job or manage a Nigerian professional league side first. Amodu, Siasia, Eguavon all did that. Keshia didn’t start with the Super Eagles. He started somewhere like Togo.

In Oliseh’s case, he bamboozled the pot bellied men in the sports ministry with technical words during footie analysis. Most of those men have Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Barca as their favourite clubs. Oliseh landed the Eagles job just like that. That was a big and costly mistake. He was already nicknamed Guardiola for talking craps on Tv...rubbish.

He started his management causing disharmony in the dressing room. Who does that? His treatment of the likes of Enyeama, etc didn’t help...stripping the captain and handing it on a platter to Musa says a lot. He should’ve discussed it with the players concerned before his announcement.

Oliseh erred but would not take responsibility for his errors instead would blame the evil fairies, demons and NFF for his failure.

Nigeria was lucky and very lucky to part ways with him. Let him enjoy his success in Netherlands. He would be watching and analysing the World Cup with the likes of Overmars, Robben, Kluivert while wishing the Eagles stumble in Russia. Win or lose, Super Eagles are already a success.

I agree with your last sentence... Win or loss , super eagles are already a success ... the improvement is obvious and no one expect super eagles to win all their matches but they should create problems for the opponents and play beautiful football ...

Romario don finish for 2002 na. Watch him at his peak in 1994 at USA. He was a class act in goal scoring.

Agali was NEVER dropped from the team after the 2002 Nations Cup,he rejected the call up to the Squad for the World Cup in solidarity to Oliseh,Finidi and Co who were dropped..remember he was in the Nations Cup Squad of 2004 after the World Cup and thus 2002 was not his LAST Nations Cup as claimed by somebody up there ..

Victor Agali and Yakubu Aiyegbeni played for Nigeria at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. They both graduated to the Super Eagles and were instrumental in Nigeria's qualification for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea and the 2002 Nations Cup in Mali.

Victor Agali scored a string of headed goals to become our highest goal scorer in the qualifiers. He scored 2 goals against Sudan, 1 against Liberia and 1 against Ghana in the qualifiers in Port Harcourt.

However Nigeria performed below the expectations of their fans at the Nations Cup in Mali. Agali didn't score any goal. Some blamed him while others blamed Coach Amodu Shuiabu for failing to use the wings to supply crosses for Agali to head in.

The poor performance and players' revolt led to the disbandment of the team. Agali and Aiyegbeni, who had helped Nigeria to qualify for the World Cup, were dropped from the World Cup team.

Agali refused to return to the team after the World Cup, while Aiyegbeni never gave his all to the team again.

2002 Nations Cup was NOT Agali's last Nations Cup, he was in Tunisia 2004 and was kicked out of the team after the first match with Ayeigbeni and Babayaro for disciplinary reasons..and Agali was NOT dropped from the World Cup team,he rejected the call up in solidarity with Oliseh and Finidi them who were dropped..#FACTS

It was actually in 1998 World Cup Romario was dropped at the last minute due to an injury he sustained in camp by Mario Zagallo..he was already too old by 2002 WC..
