According to reports reaching LEADERSHIP, Prof. Andrew Jonathan Nok is dead. Circumstances surrounding his passing has not been ascertained at this time. He died in the early hours of today after a brief illness. Nok, a Nigerian Professor of Biochemistry Public affairs secretary of the Nigerian Academy of Science. In 2010 he was a recipient of the Nigerian National Order of Merit Award, in the Science category. Until his sudden death, he was Kaduna State Education Commissioner .
