Tunde Ajibulu, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s efforts in tackling the issues of insecurity in Nigeria, especially the Boko Haram menace.

Speaking on Channels TV programme, State Of The Nation, Ajibulu described recent occasional attacks by Boko Haram as spastic spasms of a dying chicken which is normal occurrence in the world.

When comparing the situation of the country today to what obtains in the immediate past administration, Ajibulu who hailed the president and security chiefs for the feat recorded in the area of security said the terrorist group no longer occupy territories in North East region and have been pushed out of the country.

“Truly, the president has achieved a lot in terms of security. Anybody saying otherwise that will be preposterous. We know what happened under the last administration”.

“Today in Nigeria, Boko Haram is not hoisting any flag in any space in Nigeria. Before, they commandeered acres of space, they overran local governments but today that is no longer the case. The occasional attacks that we have going on now is like spastic spasms of a dying chicken which can happen anywhere in the world like we have in the United States and UK”

“The last time I was in London, you are walking and you are not sure what can happen next because somebody can just drive into crowds, killing and incapacitating a lot of people. Look at what happen in the US recently where some guys shot into crowds at Las Vegas and Charlotesville . How do you handle these things?”

“President Buhari and kudos to the Chief of Army Staff have both done a yeoman’s job in pushing Boko Haram out of Nigeria” he said.

When nigerians are dying in hundreds everz day as a result of insecurity, some fools are giving a terrorist president credits. In the past two weeks alone, hundreds of innocent people have been bombed by this same boko haram.
