Mr NSE president, you ought to fight for Nigerian engineers and not indulge in politics. the minister of health has always being a medical practitioner, a minister of justice will always be a SAN or a justice.... but a minister of science and technology, or minister of works, housing, power, mines, petroleum or transportation will be anchored by a non engineer when we have a body that is meant to address this issues.

long live Nigerian society of engineers!

long live federal republic of Nigeria!!

This is dumbest analysis ever

I call it a deliberate hogwash.

The U.K has only 21 cabinet ministers.

http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/government-and-opposition1/her-majestys-government/

There are some 100 junior members of the Government who are not members of the Cabinet, including Ministers of State and
Parliamentary Under-Secretaries of State; and unpaid Parliamentary Private Secretaries are in practice apprentice ministers on the payroll vote . Some of them may be Privy Counsellors, or may be appointed to the Privy Council as a mark of distinction, without becoming Cabinet ministers. Equally, some junior ministers below Cabinet level may be invited to all Cabinet meetings as a matter of course. The Attorney General for England and Wales together with the chair of the governing political party, are customarily included, and other members of the Government can be invited at the Prime Minister's discretion, either regularly or ad hoc.

Nigeria will remain static if they don't put igbos Talent into cognizance or if they they don't swallow their pride and be subservient to the Almighty igbos.

Nigeria will remain static if they don't consider True federalism, which would encourage the development of individual talents in Nigeria.

We don't need more ministers to harness our rich human n natural resources, we need love, we need unity, we need hard work and above all, we need restructuring.

Individuals agitating for more creation of ministries are doing so for their personal ego. The current ones, we have are full of ineptism, nepotism, corruption and incompetence. How are we sure that the ones that will be appointed won't be more bad than Buhari himself.

I urge, the Northerners, not to be afraid of Restructuring, I remembered, what Anthony Joshua said and I quote..

*If you av not passed through trenches, you won't discover your true greatness*

Meaning that, If you accept restructuring, you might just discover that you ppl can be beta without Delta oil..

Please use the talent to develop your erosion raged republic of drugs, robbery, kidnapping, fake drugs, prostitution and human trafficking so that your brothers and sisters can benefit and stay and develop your region instead of developing Lagos for the Yorubas or Binis or Aworis as Oba Tupac Rilwan and Igbo boothers have claimed.

Can Nigeria's fragile economy sustain such large number when we are talking of reducing cost of recurrent expenditure.

This is not expected from the leadership of Nigerian Society of Engineering of wish I am one of the members. Imagine more than 50 ministries and ministers and each ministry having budget with so many P S and several assistant secretaries and secretary to the secretaries. Lets take the Indian example, a country of more than 1billion population having only 26 states or regions with some of the states larger in population than Nigeria having only 26 ministers one from each state or region.
Today,we can see what India has become.
