Cyntoia Brown's case has once again entered the public eye after a number of celebrities, including Rihanna and Kim Kardashian, pleaded for her release.

Brown was convicted in 2006 for murdering a man who hired her for sex, 43-year old Johnny Allen, and was given a life sentence by the jury.

Brown said when she was 16 she was a runaway and met a 24-year-old man known as "Cut-throat." She started living with him and they moved around to different hotels, the Associated Press reported.

He was abusive—both physically and emotionally—and forced her to prostitute herself for money. He also regularly choked, beat and raped her.

if a woman is raped and forced to sell her body BY HER P1MP, it still does NOT give her the right, as a teen prostitute, to kill a man (who paid to have sex with her) in cold blood.... i fully understand why she got a life sentence for murder. you cant kill a man in cold blood and claim "self defense", lol!

and just as much as we would all love to kill all the pedos etc, you still cant do that if you catch one on top of your child.... that would be murder (and you also could end up with a life sentence)
