In August, due to inability of some occupants to pay their electricity bill, the power authority disconnected my office electricty. It was connected this November. I was shocked when the power authority presented electricity bill of the months we were disconneted &,demanded that we should pay the afore-stated bill. My questions are: 1. Do one pay electricity bill when it was disconnected by power authority. 2. If no, what should one do about it. 3. Can consumer protection council(CPC) handle it appropriately? |
