A unanimous ruling of the Court of Appeal has abruptly ended the tenure of Senator Joy Emordi at the Nigerian senate. In her place, the court declared the ANPP candidate, Uba Igbeke, (A shadowy character known as "Ubanese) as the rightful winner of the Anambra North Senatorial district elections on 2007. The judgement was delivered by Justice Olukayode Ariwoola while Justices Muhammad Ladan Tsamiya and Amiru Sanusi concurred.

This is one of the reasons Nigeria needs Electoral Reform. A Stipulated time should be given after an election for election tribunals to conduct hearing and Pass Judgement. Justice Delayed is justice Denied.

^ This is victory for Ubanese but definitely a HUGE LOSS for the people of Anambra North Senatorial district.

Not only that, brother, and also jailed for a period of the time they should have used in that position, that is, four years. At least something has to teach other would-be election riggers a hard lesson.
