Luther Blissett was considered to be the first ever black player to hit a hat-trick, born in Falmouth, Jamaica, 1st of February 1958, Blissett is an ex-footballer and manager who played for the England national team amid the 1980s.

Blissett was one of the first black footballers to play for England and hit a hat-trick on his first full international match – a 9-0 thrashing of Luxembourg. He never scored in any other international match, which led top tabloids to name him “Luther Missitt“.
