The Katsina State police command has arrested a 28-years-old woman, Rabiatu Nura, for allegedly poisoning her one month old step-son. Confirming the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Besen Gwana, said Nura perpetrated the crime on November 12, 2017 at Mazoji village of Mai’Adua local government area of the state. Gwana added that the accused allegedly poisoned the baby’s drinking water, which resulted in the death of the baby on the same day.
