Most women tend to be wicked to their maids. I don't know why but they just are. Now, it is really getting rampant with the igbos because the men don't really have time to check how the wives treat the house help.
There was a time I came back to Lagos, my neighbor (Igbo woman) had a joy of brutalizing her house girl for no reason. She derieves pleasure in tearing the girls skin with blade or beating her mercilessly for minor things until one day I caught her and she was scared that I might report her to the police.
The irony is that the same woman, her private teacher beat her own daughter for failing a test, come and see how this woman was raking and shouting that the teacher should never beat her daughter again. Infact, the teacher lost her job for it, yet this is the same woman that dereives pleasure in brutalizing her own house help.

Men especially my Igbo brethrens should start monitoring their wives and how they treat the house helps before these women put us in trouble
