All I'm saying is that, he should just step aside for other contenders are far better. He was the chairman when PDP lost most of their members to APC. He does not have the charisma to head the party.

PDP can not win election with this type of internal wrangling! You have to allow zoning to be enshrined to ensure equal representation from all zone... Southwest has never tested the position before.

There are certain arrangement that are not written it is called gentlemanly agreement, I don't expect you to support southwest candidate, because, secondus is from your state..
The fact remains, PDP needs southwest in this election. As it is now, southeast especially Anambra is voting on their survival, no more sentimental rubbish.... APGA see PDP as a threat in the east, and you know what will come of it. PDP need to thread softly and meticulously. Give up on the chairman, to southwest. It is not a do or die, get a good VP with a good president. The south south, south east, will be with PDP, north central and north east would vote for PDP. You would trash the vote in southwest. Because, northwest belongs to Buhari, if not nothing for you
