I removed the partitions on an external HDD by deleting from the Computer Management Console. . . now the HDD only registers the size of the only partition left on the HDD [53g]as the size of the whole HDD [which should be 300g]. . . .  please how do i rectify this?

thanx man, OS is Vista. . . . but figured it out now - i'll post the pix and some explanations for folks having the same probz!

@ruddie and while you are at it it is advisable not to install or copy anything on the disk just yet
