Amarabae:As much as it is the right thing to do in 2023 to elect an Igbo man as President but that Igbo man must work rigoriously for it at Party level and build bridges across the North and South. Don't think all politicians from the South will just step down for the Igbo Candidate and he will just Cruise into Aso-rock because we all feel it is the turn of Igbos. 1 Like |

ProWalker:Pdp chairman is different from presidency. Thank God for SE/SS governors meeting now. Let's see how these two regions together with the north will fold their hands and watch a Yoruba president again in 2023 after obasanjo have been a president for 8years from 1999 to 2007. Are you the only region in southern Nigeria? |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by Amarabae(f): 8:54am On Nov 30, 2017 |
bakynes:i don't know if it will be an Igbo man in 2023 but I am 100% certain that it can never be a Yoruba man again. |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by ProWalker: 8:57am On Nov 30, 2017 |
Amarabae: When I said you are naive, it stating the obvious. Politics have nothing to do with your morals, it’s everything to do with interest, if the North think the SW is better for them politically in the South, they will always throw their support. What do Igbos offer the North to support your presidency? 1 Like |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by ProWalker: 9:00am On Nov 30, 2017 |
Amarabae: If the APC fields a Yoruba man for the fact that they hold a large voting bloc and interest in the party, the worst you will do is voting the opponent. You have only one vote and left to your vote Buhari will not be the President of Nigeria today, so you can see how inconsequential your opinion and vote is |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by bakynes(m): 9:01am On Nov 30, 2017 |
Amarabae:If it won't be an Igbo man, a SS minority not too long just did 6 years why do you think it can't be a Yoruba man? and Power will return to the South also considering SW is a major Power block in Nigeria. Whether you like it or not the NW and SW are the most influential geopolitical zones in Nigeria. |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by Amarabae(f): 9:07am On Nov 30, 2017 |
bakynes:gej just completed yaradua 2yrs. So south south did a formal 4years. The foundation of one Nigeria is shaking and the north knows that a 2023 southern presidency that is not from SE/SS is an end to their interest of one Nigeria. Yorubas should go and rest because they had an 8yrs presidency under obj and a current 4yrs vice presidency Remember that SE/SS governors forum is very active now. |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by ProWalker: 9:16am On Nov 30, 2017 |
Amarabae: Let me paint a scenario for you here If APC fields a SW Presidentail candidate with a NW vice and PDP fields SE presidential candidate with a NE vice, which party do you think have a higher chance of winning? Don't forget political strategy is all about mopping up the largest number of votes |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by bakynes(m): 9:22am On Nov 30, 2017 |
Amarabae:You see why Igbos should stop insulting other tribes especially the North, Igbo have succeeded in destroying the bridge btw them and the North with their insults, if an Igbo man wants to be President he has to build that bridge across the North and the South. He won't get it on a platter, if the Igbos fail to build that bridge and a Yoruba man steps into the race be rest assured the North will support the Yoruba candidate. Don't think the North is threatened by the call for Biafra, if the Igbos must produce a president you must build a new relationship with the North. |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by Amarabae(f): 9:28am On Nov 30, 2017 |
bakynes:Biafra have nothing to do with blackmailing for a position pls. And yes the North is threatened by Biafra agitation, remember sultan of sokoto coming to enugu to preach one Nigeria or buhari and Co screaming one Nigeria here and there. You guys should stop being greedy. You are not the only geopolitical zone in southern Nigeria. Obj have been there for 8 solid years, so go and have a seat. |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by bakynes(m): 9:43am On Nov 30, 2017 |
Amarabae:We are not greedy, I support an Igbo Presidency in 2023 just telling you don't think it will just be giving to an Igbo man on a platter, you guys need to be active in APC. If you are not active in APC and Buhari wins in 2019 without Igbo votes, I can assure you Igbos will have to wait for another 16 yrs because a much more Loyal Yoruba candidate and SW zone will be giving the slot for 2023 Party will reward Loyalty first than zoning to the SE just because you guys haven't produced a president. You can see Yoruba's are active in both PDP and APC so which ever party that is in Power will favour us. |

chemali:Dreams come true. Politics is the art of the possible. In 2023, it will be the turn of the Igbos to produce the President of Nigeria. Igbos cannot be left out after others have done the same. |

igbodefender: We have over 100 tribes in nigeria, both South and North, why must igbos think they must have it before any one. Ok, it's the turn of the Edos to have it as they have never produce a president in nigeria |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by Nobody: 10:43am On Nov 30, 2017 |

Amarabae:Get ready for your Worst nightmare because that is what will happen When 2023 come we are happy to contest the election with you directly. What are you afraid of? Yoruba candidate versus Ibo candidate let's go ther. Why all this empty noise about Syria. Go to the ballot and test your acceptability. One thing you should know is these childish threats won't work in Nigeria and Yoruba will NEVER cede presidency to you just like you NEVER ceded it to them Contest and test your popularity 1 Like |

ProWalker:We are talking of power blocks, not tribes. We have 4 power blocks in Nigeria.Yoruba, Niger Delta, North and Igbo. If Buhari is reelected, by 2023, 3 out of the 4 blocks would have completed their turn in the presidency in the 4th Republic. The 4th power bloc, the Igbo cannot be denied their turn. Never. |

igbodefender: Errr, has the North Central produced a president? Has the North East produced a President since 1999? Are they crying wolf? Is the NE (Atiku) not planning to contest against the NW (Buhari) in 2019? Yet they have more states than the SE. Nobody is going to hand igbos the presidency on a platter. 2023 can be a contest between SW, SE and SS. Whoever wins, so be it. Nothing like Igbo 2023 |

Which single term? Abegi same old story, when he gets on the seat he would even want to amend the constitutional limit so as to go for a third term just like OBJ's botched tenure elongation, they said same about Bubu when he was yet to get on the seat and after getting there his tune is beginning to change from that of the earlier purported single term to two terms. With the present state of Nigerians it should be anybody else but definitely not Buhari who is grossly incompetent to lead a diverse country like ours,"the devil u know is definitely better than an angel that u know not" is a popular cliche,Bubu lacks the prerequisites and wherewithal to marshal this nation.Sarcasm and bias aside,in which of the human developmental index would u award him an abysmally low 40%,none,it is much lower than that figure in reality and yet he wants to continue because to the Fulanis power is their birthright.. |

igbodefender: So we have only 4 groups that can be president of Nigeria? You are very inconsiderate. The Edo man, the Efik man is as qualified to contest in 2023 just as any tribe in the South of Nigeria. Stop zoning 2023 to igbos, you are not helping yourself as nobody will accept that 1 Like 1 Share |

igbodefender:Ebolas are not a power block. Who dash monkey banana? Dey are a weakness block of deluded people. No one takes you seriously. You are a bad joke. When did we have this discussion about "TURNS" who were the signatories Did Alex Ekwueme contest again Obasanjo ? Yes or No? He lost He did not lose because you made any deals or concessions he lost because you don't have the support, the trust, the friendships etc You cannot twist that to say therefore next time is OUR TURN. You have no turn. Contest again and again until you get the support. All this hot air and empty threats are just meaningless The Yoruba presented Falae but the Ebolas ganged up to frustrate that. So if you want to talk of power blocks talk of North and South . Do not try to create a fiction that favours you In the North the King of the jungle are the Fulanis and in the South it is the Yorubas .That is the reality of Nigeria so stop being rebellious like Lucifer. If you want to mutiny then others in the North too will mutiny like the Igalas and the Jukun who can make the same argument Ebolas are making. Otherwise let us not heat up the polity and let there be peace under heaven. Continue developing Lagos Abuja Port Harcourt Cape Town Bangkok Mumbai and Kuala Lumpur. Your efforts are much appreciated 2 Likes 1 Share |

aribisala0:Typist you don type finish? You are talking about heating up the polity? Buhari 2019, Igbo Presidency 2023. That is the reality. Call Igbos Ebola if you like. |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by ProWalker: 1:59pm On Nov 30, 2017 |
igbodefender: The only reality is that the presidency will come to the South in 2023 if there is still a country Another reality is that Buhari will support those that supports him Another reality is that igbos are about making the same blunder they made with GEJ by the seemingly wholesale support for any PDP candidate that flaunts an Igbo VP candidate |
Re: Igbo Presidency 2023: Atiku "Planning One Term Presidency" by Alariiwo: 2:04pm On Nov 30, 2017 |
GEJ said more than that in 2011. Fool still went ahead to contest in 2015. Atiku has failed even before elections. |
