Mrs. V. A. Samson is the founder and Managing Director of the BOVAS group that was established in 1980 and which started operations as an indigenous independent petroleum marketing company in the same year. "Mama Bovas" as she is fondly called in and around Oyo state, is a marketer per excellence having an experience of over twenty-five (25) years in the Oil and Gas industry as Dealer with both Texaco Nigeria Plc and Mobil Plc. She was the first Nigerian to win the highly competitive Texaco Latin America West Africa (LAWA) Award for Best Overall Dealer in 1990 for the highest sales in both regions combined. She is the Matron of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), NNPC/PPMC Satellite Depot, Ejigbo, Lagos State and Apata Depot Ibadan, Oyo State. Mrs Samson has led meritoriously over the years, making a difference in the Oil and Gas industry and is definitely an embodiment of resilience.
